Milwaukee Muskies 2023
Season Recap

Milwaukee Muskies BLL Website

The Milwaukee Muskies finished the 2023 season in 3rd place with a record of 11-4. The Muskies played a tough schedule in Denver, Colorado starting with the Salt Lake Storm. They came back late in the game to tie it up, and finally winning in a shootout with Asmundson, Cynkar and Peterson all scoring their attempts while goalie Larsen stopped just enough to help the Muskies take the win.

After that they went on to take the reigning and eventual repeating champions the Colorado Roughnecks. They only lost by a score of 8-6 and battled hard, getting closer to overcoming the champs than anyone else.

After the loss, they went on to run through Omaha and Salt Lake again to take the 3rd place game.

It was another great season for the Muskies and although they’d like to get back to being champions, that goal will have to wait another season. The level of guys that they’re beginning to attract from former college players to a large group of young, current division 1 talent, is only helping those chances. We’ll see how they bounce back next season.

The season starts in July 2024 with tryouts in May/June. Stay tuned for other opportunities this winter or spring to join the squad.
